Clearly this was all a misunderstanding...ICE just wasn't aware that we established last year that candidates for office are totally immune from prosecution or arrest! Plenty of folks at the White House with first hand knowledge who can remind them.

Arbitrary/targeted enforcement is as much a problem as lax enforcement. Not to mention safety justifications (esp. on rural highways) that don't hold water. This is of course not unique to traffic law *cough DRUG WAR cough*. We have a lot of bad/silly laws and that harms general respect for the law.
