Nope, the Premier will go to her for permission on Tuesday when she's back from leave. Not guaranteed she will say yes, although other options are looking less and less feasible

If the budget is voted down it would probably be taken as no confidence in the gov, because they can't provide supply - so leader has to go to the Governor to dissolve parliament. However, I don't believe this has ever occurred at state level - @kevinbonham.bsky.social?

I dunno, I also wouldn't be surprised if the Governor says 'no election, we just had one, either you sort out a new arrangement or I will ask Labor to have a go'
