They let him send a mob into their building to literally drag out and hang the vice-president. There's no "If" to that statement.

I doubt it. What party is going to back her? She's done. This lady isn't a chess player, and to call her a checkers player is an insult to people who play checkers. There's no plan other than escape before the roof caves-in.

Well done. No notes.

Don't feel bad. She's spent her career working towards this moment. Let her enjoy it.

Looks like she's about to enter the "Find Out" stage of FAFO.

Ross Douthat looks like someone tried to bake a Vince Vaughn cake but took it out of the oven ten minutes too early

Creating products that help to undermine democracies abroad and entrench dictatorships is so on brand for Lockheed Martin, that this move is really more instinct than strategy for them.

As a Harris voter, I'd like to point out the obvious here. Blame all of those "sensible Republicans" she wasted the last half of her campaign courting instead of her base. They didn't turn out, and it wasn't the fault of anyone their campaign decided that they didn't need.

The Democratic Party still hasn't realized Republican voters aren't going to vote for Republican Light when they already have the real thing. Try to appeal to the base for a change.

If you think the murder disturbed you, imagine living there when it happened. The people of Saudi aren't their government though.

Everything Burr said is right. They weren't putting on a show for him. Saudis are very laid back and fun. 65% of the country is under 30, and they are very up to date on Western culture. If Burr hadn't come to him, they would have come to the US or UK to see him.

Having lived in Saudi for six years, it always bothers me when American pundits believe that the Saudis do things like this to change western countries' view of them. Sometimes countries do things for their own domestic audience. They want to keep their citizens' money in Saudi.

I, for one, think President Camacho is doing a wonderful job.

Yes, but also primary every single Democrat who's spent the last year sitting on their hands. We don't need Democrats. We need Democrats who will fight.
