I agree, and that complexity is what made it a great show. But I would be uneasy with using an example that could be so easily turned around. An ICE cop could watch this show and see themselves under threat of extremists and therefore justified in concealing their identity. They'd be wrong, TBC.

This really isn't a good example if you watch the show. The cops in the show are the target of extreme violence from white supremacists (who also wear masks), so they pass a law allowing the cops to conceal their identities to protect themselves and their families.

But cars aren't the only bad thing we import, though, right? I would use tariffs as a pigouvian tax on all the cheap plastic garbage that chokes our landfills and waterways.

Yes, exactly. But he won the presidency, meaning he won the presidency by an even smaller margin in 2016 as measured by the popular vote, because the percentage was negative. Same for Bush 2000. The electoral college is not great.

Even this isn't true. It was the smallest popular vote margin since 2016, when the winning margin was negative.

So the 9th hitter gets out and he could just bat again? As long as all batters are off by no more than 1 plate appearance?

Climbing Everest now is clearly unethical, and climbing tourists should be treated like the assholes who pay thousands to go kill a lion in Africa. Otherwise, whatever.
But two people beating the shit out of each other is just awful to watch. And MMA culture is about as toxic as it gets.
