So I was up from 5am on checking to make sure that I wasn't actually hearing the alarm. Because brains suck. The only thing worse than a brain is not having a brain.

Finally fell asleep, but recently I've had a problem in the morning: I use the birdsong alarm. My brain also does that thing where it makes sense out of hubby's white noise machine by creating meaning (aka, hallucinating). Usually I hear carnival music 🤷♀️ but recently it's been the damn bird alarm.
