Excellent example of the state of large-scale, industrial, export-oriented agriculture (NOT farmers who actually want to feed people).
What it misses is how deliberate these farmers go about cheating the health regulation - and the level of impunity they are able to enjoy - much like fossil fuels

As the U.S. antiwar movement targets the weapons supply chain enabling the genocide in Gaza, it can learn much from the decades-long struggle against cluster bombs in Minneapolis. #armsembargonow
A 40-year fight against cluster bombs offers lessons to stop the US-Israel weapons pipeline
The Honeywell Project in Minneapolis showed how to beat a weapons maker: obstruct operations, recruit workers, build camaraderie and persist.

The next step to make abortion safe & accessible in the EU is happening!

On Wednesday, the FEMM Committee votes on @myvoicemychoice.bsky.social.

Will they stand for safe & legal abortion in the EU, or will they let women suffer because of restrictive bans?

"In the 1990s, governments owned about 10% of total wealth – now it is almost half at just 6%."
"In the last year alone, a new billionaire was created, on average, every 9 days in the EU.
the richest 3,600 Europeans now hold as much wealth as the poorest 181 million "
How can Europe make the richest pay their fair share? 🤔

That was the question we sought to answer at an event in the European Parliament, where we presented our new report, "A European Agenda to Tax the Super-Rich".

Government-run, nonprofit grocery systems can better respond to food-price inflation, corporate consolidation, and inequality.

Obscene numbers of starving people right in the middle of the imperial core - is it really a mystery why there's "growing discontent" with the social order and existing political systems?
Maybe instead of pandering to the far right over people seeking asylum, targeting trans and non-binary individuals, making life harder for the disabled etc, Labour could do something useful and focus on genuine issues, including preventing children from starving
