Giving Republicans everything thing they wanted with nothing more than a promise of a vote on ACA in December (which will fail, if Republicans even honor that), is not a path forward. It is a slap in the face to everyone who voted blue on Tuesday. Do not be the party of wimps. Hold your ground.

And yet he still wields absolute power over Republicans in Congress. Do they not trust these polls? Do they fear him more? Do they just not care?

Sadly this is pointless. Until Republicans feel a threat greater than the retaliation of Trump, there will be no motivation to change course. Democracy is dying before our very eyes.
