Yesterday our very own Anum and Betti wrapped filming on #ShiftTheThrift, an exciting new BBC project presented by Welsh icon Joanna Page. We can’t wait to share more details in the new year… stay tuned!

It was also great to recognise Aneurin Bevan University Health Board's commitment to accessibility after they became the UK’s first health board or NHS organisation to receive a Visibly Better Employer Award.

We really enjoyed last week’s Eye Care Conference at Sophia Gardens, which featured our Chair of Trustees, Anna Tylor, talking about her own experiences of inaccessible healthcare information.

It was great to meet up with the facilities team at Merthyr Tydfil CBC and others last week to chat about how the experience of navigating the town’s bus station can be made better for people with sight loss.
We look forward to getting started on some exciting work together!

Mae’r syniad o lythyr ysbyty anhygyrch arall yn cyrraedd ein stepen drws yn ein brawychu mwy nag unrhyw ffilm arswyd, ond dyna'r realiti dychrynllyd i lawer gormod o bobl ddall ac â golwg rhannol yng Nghymru.
The thought of yet another inaccessible healthcare letter landing on our doorstep makes our skin crawl more than any horror movie, but that's the terrifying reality for far too many blind and partially sighted in Wales.
