This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

This is very true, but it is also complicated by the fact that they exist in a universe that *reinforces* the nonsense they believe. They get snookered easily — and then everyone they trust tells them they're right!
Reminder: Trump is not only a mark (ask Putin), but surrounded by weak-minded fools who are frequently taken in by the most obvious misinformation and propaganda - Musk, Patel, Bongino, RFK, Hegseth, Gabbard... the list is endless

@chrismurphyct.bsky.social why are you not posting on here first ? You have some great things to say. You are trying some great things. Yet you post on X where 100pct of the replies are meaningless and hateful.

This creates a very strong argument for Trump to negotiate to keep as much of that annexed land under Ukraine as possible.

It also makes providing more military support for Ukraine a financial transaction. We can continue to provide billions in order to get minerals worth trillions.

Just when you think Donald Trump cannot sink lower or be more shameful, today he's blaming Ukraine for the war and calling Zelinsky a dictator, when he knows perfectly well that Putin's constant re-elections are put-up jobs.

We got a Costco membership for the first time in our lives today. They asked why & I said because treat your workers well, you value diversity, & you didn’t cave in to authoritarian demands. He said: “We’ve been getting lots of folks saying that, thanks for joining.”

My favorite is "you have TDS " LOL.
But the goal is important enough to deal with the meaningless responses in order to get to quality engagement
Typical MAGA characterize “real discussion” to contain insults, name calling, “yeah-but” and (my favorite) “you just don’t like him, there is no point in talking to you.”

I sincerely don’t know why people aren’t physically stopping those dorks. Move shit. Lock doors. Lose the keys. Everyone switch seats. Turn off all the lights. Switch the signs on the elevator lobby. Make the settings all silly. Use a different language. Wear costumes. Fill rooms with balloons

Some GSA employees have a new name for the Musk lieutenants, calling them "The Bobs" like the consultants in the movie "Office Space."

Some of the Bobs stand out because they wear t-shirts with blazers, which is something no one else in the office does.
