I have a closet full of caps, collecting a new one at the start of every season for years. The newest one is now 6 years old, as I could no longer justify giving Bob my money. Welcome to the resistance.

I literally started tearing up at the Cueto paragraph. That was 12 YEARS AGO and I remember it like it was yesterday because it's literally the last good memory that organization has produced.

it looks like there's another definition for `CallableFunction#bind` which is not being picked up in my project.
October 14, 2025 at 2:12 PM
this is good to hear and would be great if it worked in my project. but when I cmd-click into `bind`, it goes to `lib.es5.d.ts` which is defined with a bunch of `any`s. I would love if I could replicate this tightened typing in my project.

where is that typedef coming from? my `lib.es5.d.ts` defines bind with a bunch of `any`s
October 14, 2025 at 12:40 PM
any use of .bind() is unsafe, though (seriously, check out its typedef).

fn.bind(null, "x") can be applied to a function that accepts a number as its first parameter.
