And yet, a big chunk of his base will now have what they need go “see, he wasn’t there”.

The problem with conservatives is that they run out of other people's money to improperly account for.

I’m sorry to that. I’m convinced that there are a silent majority of us who are really enjoying the game and are grateful for the SI team’s efforts on it. And for the 1000s of hours of joy FM has given us over the years.

Almost all of it was well over the top. People are so entitled. Some mitigation in that there was a gap between games, but still, it was largely unfair despite the issues with the game on release. There have been a lot of patches since then. The first impression doesn’t match the current game.

I’m really enjoying it and have hot used to the UI, for the most part. I can see what they’re trying to do and hopefully it will get slicker. The issue for me are the number of small, maddening bugs. Nothing game-ruining, but regular enough to undermine the immersion. I still love it.

Can't wait for the 'Carey is a shit bloke' headlines in the Aussie press.

I still did the walk to school this morning with four layers on, because I am an enormous wimp.

I was really shocked at how warm it was last night. Was stood outside waiting to meet a mate for a while and felt warm the whole time. Its so odd.

Or whether we've made a real mess of this and we've taken some giant steps backwards and great harm will arise as a result, but for no greater good either.

I feel like we've somehow both capitulated to the bastards too often, but also not done a good job of keeping our "side" to a sensible place.

I can't quite work out if this is the natural (and whilst annoying, "healthy") process of society having a discussion about its values, whereby the pendulum swings, probably a little too far, and then swings back. Again too far. But the overall journey is towards justice and reversals necessary

One of my first managers working in energy in the civil service told me that renewables wouldn't be able to scale above c10% of demand, owing to balancing costs. Catastrophically wrong, but happily, we all ignored him.

I turned it on and within seconds Jacks had gone. Why do we do this to ourselves?

Absolute pussies for not yelling “psyche” and giving it to Greta Thunberg
