If Wishes Were Fishes is the Game of the Week! The fish market is abuzz, ready to purchase talking fishes by the boat. Who cares if they can speak, or even grant wishes? Gotta get that sweet, sweet cash!

Yes, I watched all of the Final Destination movies and then Serenity. No, I'm not doing great.

Burgle Bros 3: Future Flip is the Game of the Week! A TNT mishap has exploded the Burgle Bunch into the future. Yes, that's the setup. Chase down and destroy AI to rid the world of their evil. I like the sound of that!

And squares can even turn into hex grids! Hexes wish they could be so versatile.

Dice Miner is the Game of the Week! Delve deep into the mountains, digging out treasure and tunnels, all the while dodging cave-ins and dragons. Want to roll 20 dice at a time? This is the game for you!

This lemon was already in rough shape with that giant scar on the back, but this pig is ready for 2026.

Kariba is the Game of the Week! These blocky buddies are crowding around the watering hole, chasing each other away with larger numbers. 64 cards, 8 each of numbers 1-8. Super simple, but timing is a jungle!

A very satisfying display of plushies at DI today.

It's a S'mores Toastie and I got it from a cookbook. So it's actually cool and normal for me to eat.

Used the large format printer at the library to make this amazing board for Northern Pacific by @amabel.bsky.social

Got a figure out how to flatten it out, but I'm very excited to play and ask "Cube or train?"

Here's to 400 more of these!

And it makes me very happy to see how much I've improved on these little drawings over the years, from scenes and surrounding details and general script tightness. Older on the left, newer on the right.

Looking over the 400 different doodles I've made, there are some things that keep popping up, like tentacles:

Pairs is the Game of the Week! One pear, two peaches, all the way up to 10 onions, this game is so immediately engaging. Push your luck and don't catch any pairs!

But this is significant cuz this is the 400th Game of the Week!

So it looks like I'm getting the rights for The Grand Carnival and the On the Road expansion back. Anybody want to publish them? Rüdiger Dorn sure likes it!

The Game: Face to Face is the Game of the Week! Only one of you is getting out of here alive, but you need to help your opponent in order to help yourself. What a cool twist on The Game! Now it just needs a clown mannequin posed as my dead father in my driveway and we're set!

Played a bunch of games with family last night, ended with Dohdles. Behold: a toaster, capybara, and snowboard.

Dohdles is the Game of the Week! How's your sculpting? Trust me, it's good enough for Dohdles. If you're TOO good at rendering reality in clay, you're not gonna win.

My actual favorite part are all of these alive butterflies and moths! Those leading wings are perpendicular to their body in flight. Bluesky could take lessons from you, with their dead logo.
