Early 2026, Fantagraphics has a BIG (450+ pages) collection of the best of my Bitchy saga with Midge’s life story from unhappy childhood to menopause (issue 40). The Big Bitchy Book and A Bitch’s Life are possible titles. (A Bitch is Born & Life’s a Bitch have been used). Any more suggestions? Thx.

My life for now is a News-free zone. I spent today with current dear friends and with some of my treasured Immortals. In just 6 hours thanks to KING-FM I was kept sane by Brahms’ 1st Serenade and 4th Symphony, Beethoven’s 5th Piano Concerto, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto and Mozart’s 41st Symphony.

Most of you recognize the late, great Roo. I live pretty much smack in the middle of this scenic photo from Mt. Erie on lovely Fidalgo Island. Not as idyllic as it appears because just off screen to the right is an enormous Naval Air Station, ground zero when WW III hits. 🙄
