Ireland is, I didn’t check for the UK being on a chart. It’s easy enough to find online.

The beauty of statistics is that they avoid anecdote & give a more accurate understanding of claims. It’s an unfortunate fact that many people can’t separate their own experience, or prejudices, from understanding facts. We may feel something is true, it might not be.

It’s noteworthy in the European data that the higher the trust an individual has in their fellow citizens, the higher the trust they have in the police. Interesting too that these are relatively small & socially integrated countries. [In some results in the first diagram only urban ppl were asked]

You say you are at the nice place in your bio. Clearly you haven’t worked out what that means.

Which is not relevant.

That’s not a solution for now.

If your reaction is how crass he is, you’re missing the point. We know that. You’re being upset at a ‘breach of decorum’. Decorum is a process by which power normally protects itself. It’s being equally upset by bulldozing the White House & the shooting of a protester. One matters, the other is pomp

Irrelevant. It’s the not rejecting the accusation that’s the point.

Child abuse, in & of itself, is not political. What is political is the way the far right make ‘protecting children’ & accusing other political groups of child abuse their central rhetoric. Not all fascists are child abusers, but they do not take it seriously & create systems where it is possible.

A normal individual [& Trump is not, as experts have diagnosed him as a narcissistic sociopath] would ignore the comment & walk on. Stopping, insulting the shouter, & then threatening him with a gesture, shows that this is not normal & is, in fact, very suggestive.

Fascism is about power & dehumanisation & so it should be no surprise that abuse of such power is central to their view of the world. Child sexual abuse is about that abuse of power too. This [disturbing] report talks about that abuse of power:
Sexual abuse of children as a form of power abuse and abuse of the body

Henry Ford is also a pattern of how amoral tycoons behave. We can all list off 20-30 of the world’s richest men who have followed his example, today. Big business & fascism have formed collaborations throughout the history of this nihilistic movement.

*Ford is an example of how fascism has always been part of the mainstream in US history. So well done that employee for speaking up:
