I agree, but didn't that happen to some extent under New Labour (yes...not necessarily 'the left')? The generation that benefited is now in its early 20s. Are they any more liberal and less dissatisfied with their circumstances than previous generations?

The NHS may indeed be inefficient — but it is not “bloated”. Rather, it is inefficient because it is run too lean.

I gave up on S2 after the second episode. Not a patch on S1. The characters are very different and the plot is a mess.
