Yeah the current situation has found us #democrats with rather strange bed fellows. But in all honesty #congress needs to act in a bipartisan manner here, its #constitutional authority is being eroded by the reckless actions of this administration. And its putting the country at risk.

I honestly fail to understand why #congress is isn't taking a harder line against the administration's actions, I suspect certain committees may have information they aren't divulging to the public. But the #American people have the right to know why we escalated this conflict.

It won't stop at Venezuela, if the administration had its choice , they'd go after Iran too. Infact I suspect they're looking for a reason to intervene in #Iran. Granted the geoatratgic complexities and dynamics of the middle east would make intervention more palatable, to stop Nuclear proliferation

This is why we have to elect people who will stand up and draw the line against these unconstitutional acts perpetratrated by this administration.

I wonder if they have classics like the day after from the 1980s.. It would be a stark reminder about the cost of unrestricted warfare and the need for the international rule of law.

I for one would like to see the #intelligence that confirms Marudo and his administration were in a joint criminal enterprise in regards to narcotics trafficking. So far we haven't seen any credible #intelligence to that fact and furthermore none seems to have been offered to #congress.

In a round about way, yes and no. Its about strategic interests being threatened by #Chinese and #Russian influence just as much as it is about resources. This goal could have been achieved without escalating it with a kenetic action, by supporting the opposing #democratic forces within #Venezuela.

I guarantee and promise you, when the elections roll around you will see #America move forward, you will see our country work in tandem with the world to preserve #democracy what ever the cost, to fight tyranny and make amends for wrong doings. Do not divest from the #USA just yet , all is not lost.

I'll say this, #congress needs to exercise its check on the executive branch or they'll be voted out of office. We the people cannot condone the flagrant violations of our most sacred document ie the #constitution and federal law. When will it stop? A war with #Iran? A war with #Mexico? When.

There needs to be change in #Washington at the most fundamental level. This isn't the 1900s and our oil companies cannot be allowed to become the United States fruit corporation. This is a serious offense and an egregious violation of Congress's war powers.
