I have never smashed the "buy" link faster. It's #bandcampfriday, by the way! At least for an hour and 18 minutes.
Nala Sinephro wrote the soundtrack for The Smashing Machine! This pic is an ad for it on Youtube

You could write about how the experiences of being a new parent and debut author are similar...and different? I'd read that.

This image has been floating around the internet, so I decided to check for myself. YIKES.

I know this is off-brand, but my feelings about this man have long (Pittsburgh) roots.

Amazing how time flies. One of my favorite albums during high school and beyond. Holds up pretty well, too!

Adding my voice to the chorus of those mourning the passing of Dan Wickett. Dzanc was my first publisher and Dan was its heart and soul: tireless on behalf of writers and their work, generous with his time and emotional energy, kind and encouraging to everyone he met. Rest well, old friend.

“We have such a tremendous amount of talent in the city and a lot of incredible publications, but there’s not anything that’s quite like this.”

Thank you to Virginia Linn at Pittsburgh Magazine for chatting with our EIC Ed Simon about PRoB!

I'm probably never going to be hired by Marvel again due to pointing this out, but anything produced by AI is stolen work. It is utilizing existing art without credit or payment. Google is scraping the hard work of creative professionals and remixing it.

Marvel wasn't seeing a dime from me outside of Ultimates, and it seems that will continue to be the case. "I know this is dangerous, but look how quirky this is 🤪" is a piss poor take from one of your lead editors and shows zero commitment to defend the artists you're working with. Shame and ugly.

The single most important thing to understand about digital futurism is this:

When the digital future that Sam Altman ( or Elon, or Andreessen, etc) predicts fails to materialize, he doesn’t have to give the money back.
