Also the idea of an "algorithm". If I follow someone, I want to see their posts. If I don't, I don't. Tricking people's brains to view more content makes money, but not what people actually want. If you want to algorithm suggestions for content and follows with being helpful in mind, great.

Twitter and the other big social media platforms have really skewed expectations about what social media should and can be. Doesn't need to represent social standing. Doesn't need to celebrate big accounts. Doesn't need to promote content or businesses. Can simply connect people.
