Sick of Twitter twats and FB Russo-bots. On here for adult conversation, better ideas (and spelling); fewer fascists; a place free from Suckerberg automatons and the stench of Musk.
Ok will do.

Hi Will, you dont know me but i follow you on here. I have a patient’s experience of waiting lists in Betsi Cadwallader, could I PM you? It’s not Watergate but I beleive that the labour party are using foul means to, apparently, shorten the lists.

I have no doubt that if this was in South Wales, closer to the corridors of power in Cardiff Bay, this atrocious situation would never have been allowed to fester how it has.

Shall we be honest about these kinds of ”developments” they are for the english market. Less than half of these are described as “affordable” (ie for local people) why not all of them providing home ownership for indigenous families? These developments are changing the demographics of our homeland.

When you stop being an arrogant cunt who thinks he doesn’t have to read experts to know the truth of a subject he clearly knows very little about. Again please read Natalia petrovskaya’s “This is Not A Grail legend” and anything by Sioned Davies eg “Crefft Y Cyfarwydd”. If you can‘t then just off!

That was a typo it was meant to be an insert (as the inverted comma suggested) into the previous post as “literature composed on paper” in contrast to oral. So you can calm down on that. Now what about my other points….?

“…most of..”

Think you’ve misunderstood my point but then you’ve not responded to modest of my points anyway. I recommend you read Natalia Petrovskaya and Professor Sioned Davies for a clearer explication of my points than I can write in the confines of this media.

What are you talking about? Of course the Romans didn’t have printing presses. And we’re not talking about Greek literature we’re talking about Welsh traditions oral culture being written down. You’re conflating oral traditions with written versions.

No it isn’t theory it’s cutting edge opinion of textual analysis amongst scholars from around the world. Their consensus is the account i will invest in. It’s oral culture written down, moreover it is meant to be performance reading-please read Sioned Davies (eg) on this subject.

”…literature” in the modern sense-ie as composed FOR print.“

The stories do not originate from time of writing they are oral literature written down not works of “literature”. These versions represent ann oral versions (or one version) at time of copying. They are demonstrably more than 600 years old. I encourage you to widen your reading re the literature.

The romances are products of Welsh Cyfarwyddiaid culture though some have later chivalric influences. Eg: Read “This is Not a grail Romance”, by Natalia Petrovskyaya-an in depth analysis of Peredur’s Welsh origins. Rergarding the four branches they are indisputably of pre-Christian Celtic origin.

You think the Mabinogion dates back 600 years? Have you read it or the vast amount of literature written about it? Please do better.

And we still don’t teach our children a comprehensive history of their own country.
