Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.

On a recent road trip around Scotland, so many sheep on the hillsides. Excited by the prospect of buying some local yarn as a souvenir, I was disappointed. I only found one basket of hanks in a gift shop, from YORKSHIRE! #scottishtourism #missingatrick #fibreartist

I've had my eye on this little beauty for a while & I really want to recreate one of the Harjolfnes garments as day to day wear *but* in honour of my recent Scottish road trip I want it in a highly unhistorically accurate bold tartan & no one can stop me, haha #D10580 #medievalgarmentsreconstructed

New skill acquired. I've had a spinning wheel, spindles & floof collection since last summer... Decided that I would teach myself to spin during this year's #TourDeFleece while watching #TourDeFrance (also for the first time) - safe to say I'm enamoured with both I'm obsessed with the red yarn
