Jucika strip titled "Jucika gázol", which Google Translate insists means "Jucika is wading" which I don't think is right. Panel 1: Jucika is driving and hits a pedestrian. Panel 2: The pedestrian picks humself up, by which time Jucika is feigning unconsciousness at the steering wheel. Panel 3: The pedestrian, on two broken legs as far as we know, runs to the hospital carrying an unrepentant Jucika. It is unclear whether Jucika is doing this to avoid a reckless driving charge (bad) or just because the pedestrian is hot (probably OK if he's into it)

PANEL 1: A cartoonist resembling Pál Pusztai, with a green suit and wavy hair, is in his studio, a drawing desk in the background, canoodling on a swivel chair with Jucika (or someone who looks exactly like her), who is wearing a sexy fishnet slip and black underwear. Unseen by either of the couple, Pál's wife has just returned with some shopping and noticed them, her face turning a smudged, printing-press-misaligned red in anger. Google Lens "translates" my total gibberish pseudo-Hungarian without blinking, but... makes a pretty good job of it?? So it's translating not actual Hungarian but a clueless anglophone's problematic joke-Hungarian, and doesn't know the difference?

Part of Google Lens' attempted translation of the quoted comic strip (see that for an alt description of the comic itself.) The title has been translated as "Jucika and world war iii", and part of the nonsense maths on the whiteboard in panel 1 as "d = She SfG 2pt". "NUZY" and "WW3!!" on the TV have been highlighted as though it 'knows' they are text, but there is no visible attempt at a translation. (Google Translate claims to detect it as Hungarian but doesn't change it in translation to English.) It has completely missed "BUDAPEST 31km" in panel 2, the only bit that is probably the same in Hungarian. The top right of the cartoon strip image, where it has translated the text to "Robin Johnson's drawing" (this bit may have been in actually correct Hungarian, as I copied it from the source and only changed the name) and "I apologize to Pál Puszta", which is almost what I meant, but wrote in daft-ass "looks a bit eastern-European to an anglophone audience" and not in any existing language. It's got the name slightly wrong which may be an artefact of casey-moody-declensiony-whatever-they're-called suffixes in Hungarian. It missed the (nonsense) "súntany" but in a separate experiment, Google Translate claimed that means "to be lazy" in Hungarian or, using 'detect language', "suntans" in Slovak

"Jucika", a black-and-white newspaper comic from 1960s/70s Hungary. This three-panel strip is titled "Jucika és a hazárdjáték" (Jucika and gambling). Jucika, an improbably proportioned saucy young lady with a flapper bob. PANEL 1: Jucika, wearing a tiara, pearls, a minidress and heels, plays cards with a sharp-suited chap. A black cat, which has apparently been Content Aware Scaled, sits in her lap. PANEL 2: The game is not going so well for Jucika, who has *once again* been reduced to her basque and stockings. Oh Jucika! The White House recently said the administration was considering buying the semi-autonomous territory of fellow Nato member Denmark, but it would not rule out the option of annexing it by force.
