Just have to a longarming angel. I love these fabrics (all Tula), but I swear this kit (yes, I used the “k” word) had the worst cutting instructions I have ever seen in 30 years of quilting. THE WORST. You literally could not make this quilt by following those instructions. That bad.

Were you ever around someone who just seems to go out of their way to be miserable? I mean just spouting a litany of crap they’re pissed about every time you see them? Or even better, every single fault they see in you? I swear sometimes it’s just about more than I can handle.

Multiple Trump cabinet members sold stocks just before or on "Liberation Day," when tariff announcements sent stocks plummeting.

If public officials used privileged info to trade stocks, while they’re supposed to be working for you, make no mistake — it's legalized corruption.

Some of my quilts were shown at my local quilt shop for a few weeks. Here’s one. The pattern is Whimsicsl Vases by Kim McLean of Australia. The fabrics are Tilda, with a pale green Kona cotton background. Hand appliqué by me and quilted by the great Gina Boone.

This is getting fewer headlines than it should. After coming to power promising to help working people, the president is revealing his real priorities by actively making it easier for banks to rip people off.

You know, a lot of folks on Social Security depend on those payments just to live. If those payments are stopped, this is a LARGE group of folks with very little else to lose. If I were Trump or Musk or the head of SS I would be really nervous going out in public at all.

Damn. I think we’re toast. DOGE used armed men and force to break into an independent agency not part of the executive branch in any way, an agency that owns its own building. Between that and Trump picking up whoever he wants and disappearing them and his ignoring the courts…
