Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honour and mourn the lives lost to anti-transgender violence. I stand in solidarity with transgender and gender-diverse people, and remain committed to fostering greater safety, inclusion, and understanding for 2SLGBTQIA+ Canadians.

A strong economy at home depends on a peaceful world. In today’s world, Canada needs to be in places of war, not only to preserve the international rules based order but also to help stabilize those economies. Rebuilding war torn countries helps them thrive and ensure a stable peace.

Canada’s future will be built by Canadians. The new Buy Canadian Policy ensures federal investments strengthen local industries, create good jobs, and use Canadian materials to build homes, infrastructure, and opportunity here at home.
