Ignoring the commercial & supporter (linked) aspects of the pro-game in Wales is just plain dull. How can anyone take their proposed plans seriously when they fail on that basic level?

"I think the URC is an incredibly high-level competition. There's some really elite teams in it. Like other leagues it's struggling a little bit for broadcast income and that's part of the challenge for it.
"Of course, it's something that comes up in every consultation meeting, 'what about Anglo-Welsh?'
"Anglo-Welsh is not on the table. It's not that there's no demand there. We hear the public voices of course, supporters who don't travel to South Africa would rather travel to Gloucester. We hear that.
"There isn't a simple transition there. We made a commitment to the URC, are committed to the URC and we have to be faithful to that."

Thank you for putting together such a comprehensive survey, and analysis of the findings. If the WRU Executive choose to ignore it, it would amount to a wilful ignorance of substantial supporter views.
The difference in quality between their survey & Gwlad’s was enormous.
