Do ministers just get swallowed whole by the DfT? Heidi has transport experience from the GLA and must be aware that she's sprouting the same nonsense we've heard for the last.... several decades.

A very good, if depressing article. You might want to have a chat with former MEP Charles Tannock. He wrote this back in 2018. It sums up the thinking of some of the radical far right on both sides of the Atlantic
