New Glenn: If no major issues are found, Blue may be able to aim for the rocket's maiden flight in the first week of January or shortly thereafter; a notice to mariners and aviators indicates a possible 1/6 launch, but that's not an official date; we'll post updates as solid info becomes available

How fast is the Lucy Earth Gravity Assist? Fast!

Lucy entered within lunar orbit about one hour ago. At around 3:28 UTC (Dec. 13) Lucy will be closer than geostationary orbits, and at 4:15 UTC closer than the ISS. By tomorrow 2 p.m. UTC Lucy will have cleared lunar orbit.

We now have gigabit internet and amazing streaming protocols. How hard would it be to add simple diagnostics to network protocols so that when a link hiccups we can easily identify the source of the issue?
