Today is the first day this once-feral, skittish kitty has curled up next to me on the couch since I brought her home in February. Looks like I have a new writing buddy. 🥹

One of my relatives is in his 60s and lives in Port Charlotte, Florida. He attended his first protest today, and I am prouder than words can express.

Extremely alarming. There have been more human cases; the CDC posted (and then immediately deleted, following Trump’s orders) an update on Wednesday about spread between cats and humans. If you don’t already follow @covid19disease.bsky.social, I recommend doing so; they’ve been on top of things.
