I've had someone hint at me being weird for drawing Jack cosplaying a character from an anime where the character was unfortunately the trope of "dressed like a grown woman but isn't one"

😭 Jack is a grown ass man and I didn't design that other character - I just watched that shit in middle school

I've had people poke me about Bitterbat and Sweetheart's relationship bc their dynamic icked them out due to Bitterbat's obsessive tendencies and the morally grey stuff they do

I'm not watering their dynamic down btw bc they aren't meant to be wholesome. They're freaks. It makes them fun to write

I've had a thread where I was sharing my honest feelings about how I dislike the way people interact with my Black OCs and recommending shit that doesn't fit ANY of them

And because I said I didn't fuck with the Barbie movie or think Winx club fit GaG, someone derailed my thread to rant about it

I've had people accuse me of being a creep because they thought Nova was a child dating an adult (Nova is an adult who is just short and Pluto is gigantic compared to ALL my OCs because they are a cyborg)

It's a big reason I've been drawing Bondwidth less because that shit sticks with you

In all my years being online, I've realized that 95% of people who wind up giving me a hard time are people who think it's their duty to keep cyber city streets clean

I rarely deal with trolls but God forbid I draw or say something and someone questions my own morality.

Halloween decor is meant to be shit you or your family bought ages ago and keep using over and over again until you lose it or it breaks and you can't fix it.

Part of what made the holidays so special to me as a kid was that familiarity of literally growing up with specific decor

Redrawing a charcter's hair in a comic page because she has butterfly locs and the way I was drawing them just WAS NOT cutting it (they looked like basic locs) and I want to be able to draw my OCs hair SOMEWHAT accurately at the very least even with my simplified style.
