Finished up Chapters 4/5 this morning and met the resident "hot nazi" archetype
Feels like the mechanics have finally clicked in place for me now, these two chapters were a lot easier than 2/3 and I'm, actually getting some enjoyment out of the tactical aspects of unit arrangement/skills now

Mei not only being incredibly precious but also extremely useful (and sometimes downright busted) in combat as well

Pixel Quilt over on the RMN discord has me trying to de-rust myself after years of not doing any work in the medium... Still a long way to go to get back into it though.
Gonna need to soon as I am rapidly approaching needing "for real" work for my project too

Hard to believe it's been 10 years since Wanda debuted in One Piece. Still remember the day Chapter 804 came out and I saw her for the first time❤️

Beginning is kind of rough, the end sort of falls apart, but the open world mid-game is really something special. For the most part I had a ton of fun playing this, I'd say it's a nice 7/10. Will have to write a full review soon.

I wasn't entirely sold on the aesthetic of some of the early chapter areas, but I think Kentona's mapping got quite a lot better as this went on, because the later towns are just extremely pretty with this low-scale RTP look.

For a brief moment I became *very* excited about the prospect of an open world 4-party hot swapping experience (not that I understand how that would even function tbh) but alas, only for specific dungeons, otherwise its just character cycling in the same "slot"

I tried the demo for a laugh but honestly? The new Bubsy game kind of slaps??? It's been a long long time since I had so much fun messing around with the movement tech in a 3D platformer.
Went in with no real expectations but now I'm definitely going to be grabbing this next year.
