Encontramos que os efeitos positivos são explicados sobretudo nos cursos relacionados ao setor de servicos e localizados em municípios com bom crescimento econômico, e os maiores efeitos negativos, especialmente durante o periodo do curso, são relacionados aos cursos diurnos.

Também analisamos os efeitos do programa para além do mercado de trabalho, mas não encontramos efeitos sobre empreendedorismo e sobre a probabilidade dos alunos continuarem seus estudos na UFBA. Além disto, a rica base de dados nos permitiu realizar diversas heterogeneidades

E como realizamos esta avaliacão? Utilizamos o fato de o programa selecionar os participantes de forma aleatória. Qualquer ex aluno da rede pública estadual de ensino é elegível ao programa, cerca de 100 mil se inscrevem por ano, e 10 mil são selecionados.

Nossos resultados sugerem que o programa tem efeitos positivos sobre a empregabilidade das mulheres que se graduaram antes da recessão. Contudo, para os dois grupos, mas especialmente para os homens, o programa gera um efeito negativo sobre a empregabilidade durante o curso
