I'm transferring camera photos to my phone and printing from the Canon app from there.

Good question! I'm transferring files to my phone and printing from there, it's only one extra step.

Sounds like it's partly Microsoft's fault in messing up the way the driver works. But it's clearly intended to be used with your phone, there's also an SD card slot.

Very good if you want super easy 6x4 prints with no unclogging of infrequently used ink jets. Not so good if you need to print from Windows.

It's very nice, you should unbox it! 😁

Only snag is the lack of a working Windows 11 driver. Nice quality and colours though, and best of all it's super simple to use.

At the risk of tempting fate, I do have multiple backups. And I do also have a collection of dead relatives' physical photos that are just collecting dust and taking up space. But I take your point, digital storage is very dependant on current standards and technology.

6x4" and the papers ok, slightly thinner than lab print maybe? It's dye sublimation, so no clogged print heads and the paper is dry immediately. Colours look very close to my screen without any tweaking.
