My favorite part about Detective Conan is that, since none of the characters get older, the entire series has to take place in a single year. The show has over 1000 episodes, and Japan doesn't usually crack 500 murders. Which implies Conan and Co. were present for *every single murder* in Japan.

Kinda like a role-reversal, but an extra step further. A re-reversal? Who knows.

Personally, I'll only accept it in cases where reality eventually re-rights itself and order is restored (the pred in question gets big again but now has a chip on their shoulder).
