My thoughts on the Russian-American talks on Ukraine, without Ukraine. The simplest interpretation of the available facts is that the Americans are using Russian violence to try to exploit Ukraine.

I'm saddened by many aspects of the Trump regime's statements and actions in recent days. But Elon Musk's indirect accusation that President Zelenskyy doesn't want peace is a new low. Musk is a damaged and broken person. Powerful, but unelected. Disconnected, pitiable, in many respects.
