These come from the land of machining (metal), but are tough, heavy, and adaptable. I make 3D printed fixtures to help with assembly work. They allow you to keep things close to the work surface. Degrease before first use.

I do a lot of work with magnets -- tapping them into place. A brass hammer is a must. These are made for gunsmithing. While you're at it, design and print yourself an install tool. No more guessing which magnet goes where.

It's really not fair to call these "sanders" -- the glass ones are 10000 grit. Originally for plastic model makers, they are handy for cleaning up 3D prints. The foam centered "nail files" come in a range of grits. The glass is for polishing.

This is where a Facebook ad actually caught me. On the higher end ($70 US shipped) but super handy for soldering little parts like these 5mm switches and tiny JoyCon breakouts. Two words: Parallel jaws. Designed in Sweden, made in Taiwan.

Don't expect a Fluke or an Agilent. But I actually use this "bench" multimeter more than my expensive gear. Great for quick continuity and voltage tests. It's $25 US. And if it breaks, who cares? www.amazon.com/dp/B0D9NS4LTK

I cut spools and spools of wire. My older cutters were getting dull, so I looked for a decent inexpensive pair. I'm really liking these. Two for $7 US! www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBML9M2V
