At the end of this nonsense I wished I could just sample more inks but that might be my collector brain

It was also fascinating how some inks like locked down on the paper and others were easily moved around by water. Some dried fast and others felt like they lasted forever. I got a glass nib pen at one point and it’s really neat how differently it feels from a metal dip pen nib

I seriously made a whole spreadsheet of all the Pantone, rgb, and cmyk values of each of the inks so I could try to convince myself to not buy any that were too similar in an effort to control the obsession
