To be totally accurate - they've resurfaced the Buxworth side, and the last time I went up it about 4 weeks ago they had signs on the Whaley side warning about upcoming roadworks. So hopefully it's all done now

Silk Hill's been resurfaced recently. Hasn't helped the gradient but it makes it more pleasant
