Today, I have been working on a controller for the Giant Unicorn Hat. Have written a function to move the powered fadder to a set position, using a @pimoroni.com motor 2040, running CircuitPython to monitor/control the faders and the NeoTreilis.

Ideally I'd be controlling them from a microcontroller rather than Python, but I'll have a look for motors.py to see how things are working, thanks.

Just wrote about using Pixi for ROS 2 development.

pixi.sh + robostack.github.io simplifies dependency management across ROS 2 distributions while supporting both conda and PyPI packages in a single tool.

pretty cool launch system lmao, still bespoke (and ros) but at least it's actually usable

The biggest driver of robotics innovation over the last couple of years hasn't been anything clever. It's just been people making cheap robots easier to use. And that's a good thing; we have all the tools we need for a robotics revolution, we just need to actually get people out there using robots.

That's great! You can also charge them interest on the overdue accounts FYI

A serious sounding letter from your 'legal team' giving 14 days before commencement of legal action is worth a shot IMHO

It's this list bsky.app/profile/did:... I added everyone one of the robotics starter packs. Should probably refresh it to capture new people

Once it works reliably it ceases to be a robot

Yes it's now posts only from people on a list with the #robotics tag

I designed a whole robot around being bad at soldering..

With their lora dongle for meshcore might make an awesome post apocalyptic solar cyberdeck
