1. Put pressure on republicans to do it, if it’s bad. 2. Gives them an excuse for everything that doesn’t happen and a get out, for things which do that create hardship. 3 if someone breaks the law this should be true anyway. 4. Is your only serious option. Good luck!

Me too in terms of white/male privilege and I don’t feel I’ve ever been blocked by positive discrimination. So many are angry about it and for what?

My point was I don’t know of anyone who was employed because of DEI not that they don’t exist. Implying as Truss has that it is the cause of some decline of Britain is not only stupid, but counterproductive.

I have NEVER met a DEI employee that I know of. So if we have the most in the world, it’s not an issue.

For the avoidance of doubt. Latest accounts show they’ve been losing money since at least 2021. From what I understand - Their assets in 2021 miraculously were exactly their loss in 2022 so they are likely insolvent by 2023.

I am for, my point is *some men. You really need to pick your battles if you want to change minds.
We agree. Yes there are some like that. It’s not me.

There is a worse worst case. They make the changes and it benefits the minority, but those minorities have the power. Disenfranchise and vilify different groups so that votes to keep them in power come from a majority that want the American Dream. The ones that think that could be me.

So your objective is to change the status quo, but not to change any minds? I wouldn’t have read the post in the first place if my mind wasn’t open to the overarching point. My point still is. Vilifying every married man will not help the cause. Some want to change the status quo.
