This is important & necessary. I’d add only that a) It’s clear many of the political & media figures deliberately ignoring these facts are playing with the sort of fire we saw on our streets this summer & b) Laura Kuenssberg’s failure to point this out to Farage was an appalling dereliction of duty.
Some people in recent days have alleged a ‘cover-up’ over the grooming & rape of hundreds of young girls in predominantly northern UK towns, leading to calls for a ‘national’ public inquiry into child sexual exploitation

Why are spurs fans so angry that they didn’t walk over Rangers at Rangers in a competitive European match? When they haven’t won a game since they beat a struggling city. Perhaps it’s the arrogance of fans that’s the problem.

UK driving tests have a backlog. Government ask driving instructors for solution. They make money off the apps and cancellations. BBC breakfast interview a learner who tells about booking 3 tests through cancellation apps coz she “has to”. The solution is to ban apps and reselling of tests!

I got caught speeding. Accepted the offer of a fixed penalty notice in June. Put my card details in. Today I received a court summons because “driving license details were not received” but they have included my admission as evidence which has my drivers license details on it.

Tragic story in The Times about 88 year old farmer, John Kemp-Welch, who works 5k acres of difficult hill farming land in Scotland.
He somehow found time to be Chair of the London Stock Exchange, a stockbroker for 30 years and on the board of HSBC.
And the masses protest for him
