I'm just here to read opinions about movies.
I'm about half way through, but it seems like Bone Lake is just horny Speak No Evil.

I don't wanna jinx it, but the Mariners finally making it to the world series once somebody named "Big Dumper" showed up would be the most Seattle thing possible.

I feel like once you have your characters carrying around iPhones you can't call your movie VHS anymore.

Microsoft making Xbox completely unaffordable will surely save the brand.

If anybody needs it in the future; "I'm not aware of that" is much more believable than "Those are 600lb sealed bulletproof windows that are impossible to open"

Why is this directtv ad Kumail Nanjiani doing Macklemore cosplay?

Can you imagine being very publicly on trial for murder, famous for smoking the most weed, and then being scared your kids might see two men kiss in a movie?

I love it when I find a brilliant idea in an old notebook.

The Toxic Avenger 4 is immediately the most offense of the series. Like, Jesus Christ, the Sklar brothers are in this one? Ew.

Nothing has ever made me feel more patriotic than watching Jason Mantzoukas on Taskmaster

In Final Destination, Devon Sawa has a Pecker poster and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about a character who likes John Waters' worst movie that much.

I don't really have an audience or anything, but if you could go see Sinners in a theater so that Ryan Coogler can keep making cool shit I'd really appreciate it.

I had a terrible thought for any photoshoppers to explore: Classic movie posters in the style of YouTube thumbnails.

In Dracula Untold they reveal the origin of Dracula, which is that there was an older vampire. Wow. So creative, I see why this was such a success.

The Netflix add about how all their popular series are ending this year is certainly a choice.

How is Paul F. Tompkins doing after hearing that Jason Mantzoukas basically just went and asked to be on Taskmaster and that's all it took to get on the show?

Wolf Man is gonna suck on a streaming service. It's dark and the sound is the best thing about it. People are gonna hate it when it's compressed to shit and relying on TV speakers.

I liked Wolf Man but it's not as good as Whannell's other work. The themes of generational trauma are a little on the nose here, and I'm not sure Whannell really has much to say on the subject. Great sound design.

I wasn't able to watch a David Lynch film today, but I did eat some Cheetos in memoriam.

If you're thinking of watching a recent-ish documentary about David Lynch, you want The Art Life. Lynch/Oz isn't worth your time.
