The motivation came from wanting something similar to Rake Tasks from rails but in my Gleam backend. A fun side quest I might put more work into later if I have time!

I remember seeing Binance had a phishing code you could generate and record. Then they would display it in all of their emails to you. Not sure that works for the average user though.

I don't find it confusing but it could be a good idea for the sake of transparency. Just to more clearly signal where the funding is going. I think it would also be fine to still have your own personal sponsor link too. So people can make a choice.
