Early 30s, Tech for the most prolific theatre company in the world. Sound engineer and designer, lighting designer and all round annoying guy!
On Monday rehearsals started for my next production Rollers Forever.

I am the lighting designer for this show which happens to be the biggest professional production I have ever designed for! (I actually have people working for me 😳) I am excited yet very nervous for it too! Hopefully I do well!

Scotland is too beautiful a country to just sit on your phone on a train journey on. He says completely unironically.

There’s a guy building a fence between us and next door. I’ve just made eye contact with him. Now I just want to curl up in a hole and die I feel that awkward.

My favourite so far this season & I love my lighting design for this show. It’s great seeing it out on the road.
Audiences have been loving Wasps this week, and if you don't believe us this is what they've said themselves...

💪 “Powerhouse!”
👏 “That was awesome, very impressed”
👀 “Worth seeing, very good!”

Final two performances today and tomorrow at 1PM, don't miss it 🐝

You can always tell an American Tourist on the Glasgow subway.
- Map Of the subway ✅
- Fancy camera around their neck that they have no idea what most of the functions do ✅
- at least three bags around their body ✅

Even before they use their loud, brash voices you can tell.

Cars are not seen as necessary, they are classed as a luxury item, I believe, but to some of the people who own cars that need them for their work, that rely on them we now can’t afford to keep them. Yet more stress added to the pile of stress we already have. #carinsurancescam

With these price increases are the government going to do anything about it? Like fuck they will. This isn’t a labour vs conservative thing. This is a whole government thing. Big up business, big up corporations. Why not big up your fucking citizens, especially the lower paid ones? #carinsurancescam

Looking at Forbes’ information on car insurance and according to them the average annual cost of car insurance from Q4 2024, which is the latest data available, in Scotland is £463.53.
I am interested to see what insurance companies profits are for 2024-25. I bet that will be a big jump too.

Both my partner and I don’t have high paying jobs, we have a modest 71 plate Kia Ceed. Finances are quite stressful for us. We earn just enough to get by but when shit like this happens and with the cost of everything going up it’s just getting worse. But most things go up less than 10% not 200%!

The £1200 I am expected to pay now is more than the cost when I got my first car at 22. And still more than the cost after my accident at 24. I’m 32 now with 6/7 years no claims bonus. What for? What’s the point. As you can tell, this has angered me greatly.

I just got my car insurance renewal quote through. 2 years ago I was paying £400 a year, this quote was over £1200! They say it’s because of the cost of repairs and due to Covid and other excuses but how can they justify this jump!? It’s nearly doubled since last year! #carinsurancescam

Honestly, how can people be half an hour late for the show. Especially when it’s only an hour long! What’s the point in even turning up?

Thank god for “Undo Send” on email. No more sending an email that’s meant to have an attachment but forgetting to attach it. Lifesaver. Or embarrassment saver I should say.

Tomorrow it’s finally back to the daily grind. It’s been a long and difficult couple of months but we made it through! Can’t wait to get back to it and back to my routine.

I am, much to my own surprise, becoming a vinyl person?

It's not about sound quality really. It's that it feels absolutely amazing to be able to put on music made by an artist in the order they chose and no tech company watching.

And paying them £20 for it feels just really really great.
