Corbyn and Lineker were thoroughly smeared and I'm sure the media aren't happy Neville and Polanski haven't learned the lesson. Similarly - the way Imane Khelif was treated (when she wasn't even trans!) was clearly meant to show what will happen to a trans athlete if they ever dare compete.

The British media collectively goes after anyone who starts telling the truth a bit too loudly. Corbyn, then Lineker, now Zack Polanski and Gary Neville. What do they have in common? 1) are popular/likeable 2) point out what's wrong with the UK. You can do one or the other but you can't do both.

Just listening to the first couple of episodes of our podcast before they go live next week. At one point I say that the Denmark flag is red and blue and don't correct it for a good 7 or 8 minutes. I want to scrap the whole episode. Not sure I can live like this.

I mean, this is just pathetic really.

Dave Chappelle is already extremely rich. He didn't even need Saudi money.

But not only did he do it anyway, he wants to holier-than-thou this shit on top of it?

Just say you're a coward who doesn't care and move on

Dave Chappelle criticized the status of free speech in the United States while on stage at the Riyadh Comedy Festival in Saudi Arabia. The comedian was one of more than 50 performers participating in the event, which has come under fire for being held in a country which has been accused of human rights violations and an oppressive regime. "Right now in America, they say that if you talk about Charlie Kirk, that you'll get canceled, Chappelle told an audience of 6,000, according to The New York Times. "I don't know if that's true, but I'm gonna find out." He then added, "It's easier to talk here than it is in America."

MSF staff are universally understood to be engaged in an essentially sacred form of work. For a state to nonetheless continuously murder them is a testament to a truly unthinkable degree of depravity.

msf.org/msf-denounce...
This morning, an attack carried out by Israeli forces killed Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) staff member, Omar Hayek, and seriously injured four others. The attack took place on a street where our teams were waiting to take a bus to the MSF field hospital in Deir al Balah, Gaza.

All staff were wearing MSF vests, clearly identifying them as medical humanitarian workers.
We express deep sorrow and outrage over the killing, which occurs less than two weeks after another MSF colleague, Hussein Alnajjar, was killed by the Israeli forces, in Deir Al Balah.

Our thoughts are with Omar’s family and colleagues at this tragic time. Omar, 42 years old, is the fourteenth MSF colleague to be killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023.

Greta Thunberg, deported to Greece, says the targeting of the Sumud Flotilla is "not the story" @teenvogue.com — instead, she says:

"Israel once again violated international humanitarian law by preventing aid from getting into Gaza while people are being starved.”

Today I learned (on the Nazi site) that the first attempt to break Israel's siege on Gaza via a flotilla took place 15 yrs ago, in 2010. Israeli forces boarded the Mavi Marmara & killed 10 people. The youngest, 19 yr old Furkan Dogan, was shot five times from close range. He was an American citizen.

The Times of Israel reports that Greta Thunberg & her fellow Flotilla crew are being held in a special "terrorist" section of Ketziot prison—or in "terrorist conditions," as Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel's Minister of National Security put it.

www.timesofisrael.com/thunberg-sai...
On Friday, the ultranationalist minister suggested that Israel would be better off throwing the flotilla participants in prison for several months
rather than immediately deporting them back to their home countries. Security prisoners - those incarcerated for offenses that intentionally harm national security - are housed separately from criminal prisoners and are not eligible for many of the benefits available to the general prison population. The term is a catch-all term applied to detainees, convicted prisoners and terrorists, and administrative detainees who are held
without charges for extended periods, without trial. "We are in Ketziot prison, and as I promised, those flotilla members,
supporters of terrorism, are here in a security prison," Channel 14 reported
Ben Gir as saying. "They receive conditions for terrorists here, for everything, terrorist sweatpants, terrorist conditions. This means, there is a minimum of the
minimum, that's what I promised and that's how we are fulfilling it."

An Israeli prison guard deliberately slammed a metal door on the already broken leg of a 70-year-old Scottish woman who was abducted from the flotilla.

Torture.
THIS IS SAD ❗❗

"That prison was awful. No food, no water. My broken leg, the girl said to me, "Ah, what happened to your leg?" I said, "it's broke." She slammed the metal door on it and went, "Oh, sorry"

Margaret Pacetta, 70, from Glasgow, Scotland, is one of four Scots who participated in the Global Sumud Flotilla. Pacetta arrived in Istanbul Airport on Saturday afternoon along with 136 other activists.
