Went for coffee after school bike dropoff. Invited my neighbor D to sit at my table. D was was knocked off his bike 32 years ago, has a traumatic brain injury that wipes his short-term memory. “Have you seen Memento?” he always yells at me cheerfully. “I’m like that guy.”

Our neighbors didn’t realize my Tern was a cargo bike because it’s so compact. But I carry a 100lb kid to school on it, and a week of groceries home.

Keep wondering about this regarding new funding. It would explain why they keep saying 'BS is tech and not the users' because it would look for all the world that BS was bought by Thiel/Andreessen to shut up opposition talk and no other reason if they didn't keep talking about the platform.

A life update: this wound up paying off. I'm still applying to several jobs that are hopefully careers, but I've got my survival needs covered by a job at the airport that I'm apparently pretty good at.

And instead of being in an office alone, which was driving me mad, I see 20k people a day.
