I personally believe if we want to try and dress up using AI gen to "speed up production" as if that is the real concern, we should instead be more okay with reusing already existing assets made by actual humans, rather than generating from a pool of stolen assets at a massive energy cost

even if gen ai could perfectly create stuff, I still wouldn't care. I want human imperfections, I want to know that a human actually put their heart into something rather than a computer shitting it out. I'll take a dirty humanmade sketch over robotic perfection any day of the week
