The best virology talk ($100) is sponsored by the Australasian Virology Society. The People's Choice awards for best talk ($100) and best lightning talk ($50) are sponsored by Microbial Genomics. In 2025, the new Innovation in Bioinformatics prize ($100) is being introduced.
