Welcome, Newskies! If you've somehow found me, it was most likely through my cats: Uschi & Grizzly.
Uschi, age 3, is a black golden-shaded British Shorthair girl. She has anxiety.
Grizzly, age 1, is a black British Shorthair boy. He is a himbo.
I post about cats, food, mental health, D&D, books.

I'm not entirely sure that's what is meant by 'tall, dark and handsome', Grizz.

A door opens into a small bathroom, revealing a vanity, a mirror, a light fixture, and a cat black cat sitting in a clerestory window. The bottom of which is roughly 6' / 1.8m from the floor.
He is very tall.
He does this regularly and can get down with no problems/injuries (he jumps onto the vanity, then to the floor). Still gives me worry fits.

Oh! Well, they both get a probiotic - Uschi needs it, Grizz just thinks they're candy. Not sure I can add in a fish oil as Uschi is allergic to tuna and salmon... maybe see if I can find a cod or something... hmm

Uschi is a cobby built girl, for sure. I call Grizz my little otter because he has a longer body relative to leg length than Uschi (and he has a fat tail hehe)

Had some annoyed ears from Uschi, but not baps and no chasing... this time.

Spouse gets back from a week long business trip tonight.
Over the course of the week, the cats have been more attentive than usual.
For example, the other day, I look over and Grizz is quietly chilling nearby... where he can keep an eye on me, making sure I don't leave.

A black cat doing a full sploot on a burgundy and cream rug. He is making semi-baleful eye contact. There's definitely an 'I'm ~watching~ you' vibe - probably because he maintained position instead of doing his normal purring charisma roll to entice belly pets.
