My friend Erik Mona (of Paizo) posted about how D&D orcs used to be pig-faced humanoids and I've been thinking about it all day,
I did this sketch with that in mind. It has the thickness I'd want for these, but I think the head needs to be chunkier and more hog-like

David Lynch
1946-2025
I painted this after he passed away and released a limited edition print with the fine people at Nakatomi Inc. With all funds going to the LA Foodbank after the fires
I have a few artist proofs I may make available via my site ( $ going to a local food bank this time)

Ive had this Faber-Castell since the late '80s. The ruling pen and extender arm have really been useful for drawing oversized circles and inking them (or the portion visible)

A clear sign he's surrounded himself with idiots is how they're letting him threaten former allies like this.

I saw this in an IG ad and thought, "'70s coke dealer Ken doll?!"
Sadly, no.
It's a Harry Potter thing and now I don't want it.

Decided to watch A COMPLETE UNKNOWN again tonight. I liked it well enough the first time, but like Dylan himself, it's better on repeat experiences

Hey artists!! Post some art you made from before Bluesky!!
Made with Corel Painter way back in the old days - -it was actually two digital studies I merged in Photoshop.
Used as a cover (multiple covers, actually) by IDW for their Spike series

I wonder if they'd be interested in my doing this?

From the BBC.
I mean, does Cameron even remember how to make a good movie?

LOBO!
Seeing that brief glimpse of this old bastich in the Supergirl trailer brought back a pile of happy comic memories, so I just had to draw the main man, himself.

I grabbed a copy of Fujimoto's Look Back. I already saw the anime movie, so this was a bit of an indulgence.
Don't sleep on either. It's a deeply personal work about creativity and regret. It's from '21, but it's in my top reads of this year.

His entire career is pretty problematic -- so much of his career was full on swiping other artists both stylistically and whole figures on top of likeness theft.
Full disclosure, I once used two actors playing FBI agents for a single scene

Cool!
I haven't done US cons in a while, so networking for this sort of thing has really dropped off -
Here are a few I've done

I've had more than a few people ask about the witches i pulled down from the shop last month.
With one week left for the 25% off sale on my shop figured I'd make them available again for these last five days

VAMPIRELLA
Hard not to have this Frazetta-designed character on my shortlist of drawing subjects when casting about for ideas.
In this case, I wanted to push for a greater value range with this new rendering approach.
