Cannot emphasize enough: indie-loving shops in big U.S. cities ordering best-selling indie games pick up around up 50, maybe 60, copies. Shops in island nations with populations smaller than Lubbock, TX would struggle to sell 100 copies of Daggerheart.

Always check the orderer's information. If anything—especially owner names or addresses—is fake-ish, it's a scam. If they're not asking for standard wholesale terms when ordering 3+ copies of the same item, it's because they're shitty con artists.

- Mora Shipping is a real company that runs real ships with real cargo and real crews. They don't use a free Gmail address. His drop-ship partner isn't just a fucking scam, it's how William the Fraudulent makes his money.

- The link included in the original thread explains the scam. You are never expected to provide free international shipping to anyone under any circumstances. No matter how big the order, you should be able to send it DHL for under $1k. You don't need to pay a drop-shipper anything.

- Anyone placing a 100-item retail order will want to know about your retail discounting terms. 50-item retail orders are amazing. 100-item retail orders out of the blue—with no discussiopn of your retail discount terms—are always fake.

- Do not set up your own payment system for this sack of shit. He will tell you his credit card won't work with Shop or PayPal. That's a fucking lie. As much as I hate Shop and PayPal, they at least make it harder for him to reverse a charge. The systems he suggests aren't trustworthy.

Seemed innocuous initially. We get a lot of emails about international shipping rates, but the follow up set off all the alarms. Just couldn’t figure out how he’d profit.

The address in Malta doesn't seem to actually exist; he's been ordering 50-100 random products from small businesses there for years.

William won't ask about wholesale discounting because he's just trying to trick you into paying his drop-shipper, then will cancel the order and reverse any charges.
