😁I am terrible at labelling, grow everything from seed and still manage to mess it up. Usually it's with the squashes/courgettes/pumpkins, but this year it's also my peppers. My OH doesn't know how I manage it.

I've been thinking a lot about why the DfE guidance feels so wrong and I reckon it's because it ignores the role of intrinsic motivation in *wanting* to learn to write. If it's not about the urge to communicate your own ideas, rather than just about the technical aspects, you're missing the point. ♥️

It's such an onerous task. I'm proof reading my PhD and have had to stop 50 pages in as my brain is crying and arguing with itself as to whether it needs the Oxford comma or not.

Beautiful! My sweet peas are still climbing and not ready to flower yet. We've only just had the first peonies open and a few roses. I can't wait til the house is filled with sweet peas.
